Weekly Happenings March 22-28

1.  Hayden is enjoying writing and drawing {a lot} these days.  He's always so proud of his work.  Normally he has to explain what he's drawn, but I'm so glad he enjoys being creative!  My refrigerator is full of all his artwork and I'm saving a lot of it in a little scrapbook!

He said this was Jesus carrying his cross then him on the cross. He even drew a crown of thorns on the first Jesus.  Guess he is listening to those bible stories! 

He has an ongoing story about "The Barn Dog".

2.  Austin turned 3 months old!  He's changed a lot since he was born and even since he was one month old!  Here's a little collage with his 1/2/3 month pics!

3.  Kevin got his new glasses this week!  It took a little longer for him to get his than it took for me to get mine.  His first pair was way too big on his face, and even the employees at the eye store agreed he needed to pick out a different pair.  The store has insurance that allows you to pick out a new pair of glasses if you don't liked your first pair, and it's no additional charge.  I'm not sure if all eye glass stores operate like this, but we are glad this one does!  

4.  I tried a new weight watchers recipe that was A-maz-ing!  I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have people to share with.  I had a hard time limiting how many I ate... And I actually lost count of how many I ate {that's bad}!  They didn't taste like a lighter version of cinnamon rolls, but they were only 1pt each.  I'll post the recipe in a few days.

5.  I made some sugar cookies for my friend this week! She's wrapping up her full time job to be a SAHM and I'm thrilled for her!  What better way to celebrate than sugar cookies!
