I had a relaxing Mother's Day morning. I woke up to an unexpected gift from Kevin - a new pink MK purse, watch, and bracelet. Since I wasn't planning on him spending any money on me for Mother's Day, I returned the watch and bracelet. But, I've carried my new purse since I got it. He did good.

I spent several hours of the day at my parents house since Kevin had to
sleep most of the day. We had lunch and went for a walk around their
neighborhood. I had told my mom I wanted to get a picture taken with her. We took this one first, and I was happy with it except that Allie was sneaking in behind me and also my hand looked kind of creepy sitting on my moms shoulder. Darn the big boney hands. So after I mentioned my creepy hand, we both got tickled by it, but tried to repose for another picture.

We got mom a gift certificate to have new family pictures taken this fall. We usually do this every couple of years, so it will be fun to get an updated picture since Austin wasn't in the last one! Hope you all had a good Mother's Day too!
